2 Credit Option

 A. A comprehensive reflective synthesis a documentation of examples, strategies and techniques that will be integrated in the learners’ classroom. (use your learning logs, toolbox and reflective piece at end of course) 

Include: This is to be a complete start to finish reflection. Please do not write a short paragraph or two. 

  • how the iPad tool will be integrated,
  • why it’s important in the 21st century classroom
  • it’s impact on student achievement
  • class"room" modifications that may be needed.
  • how you will establish the iPads continued use.
  • how will you differentiate lessons.

 

B. A self-assessment  

  • Look back to all your past reflections and write about how you progressed through the course content and knowing what you know now, how it will change you an educator.

  • This is to be a complete start to finish self assessment of the knowledge gained in this class. 
  • Please do not write a short paragraph or two.  

  

 

Three (3) credit option

1. Write a Comprehensive Technology Integration UNIT Plan that reflects the your understanding of and inquiry into the iPad course’s essential concepts in regards to your grade-level and curricular area(s). dropitto.me/ebert_s PW: marathon

B. Write a School Improvement Plan/Handbook  that will provide the educators in your building the with plan on how your school will handle the ipad movement. You, then will be the expert!

  • How does your school handle the purchasing of apps, books, etc.
  • How to create classroom environments for iPad.
  • Create an app toolbox of reviewed iPad apps that will easily integrated different curricular areas/age/development level.

  • Develop objectives that describe appropriate iPad goals for students/teachers. Who has them, who is getting one, how to begin?

  • Create a list of sample lesson plans that incorporate the iPad.

  • Develop a problem solving and FAQ for professional development and collegial support.

  • Explain the uses iPad has for routine tasks as well as for curriculum development. 

  • Review and refine the iPad Plan so that it adequately reflects the scope and sequence of student goals and tasks.

 

Submit your final documents to our shared notebook in evernote or google doc and share.

1. Complete and submit final self-assessment AND reflective synthesis (2 and 3 credit(s))

2. Complete and submit iPad integration plan or school improvement plan complete with ALL attachments, rubrics/assessments and files. (3 credit option)

 (Remember, it has to have enough information that another teacher can follow.)
